We had an amazing stay at a lovely old cottage just minutes away from the town center and a short walk to the waterfalls. The cottage was cozy and inviting, and we were impressed by the well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful extras like tea, milk, and biscuits. The location was perfect for exploring Richmond, and we enjoyed a stroll around town and visits to nearby attractions like Castle Howard and the Black Sheep Brewery. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including a great shower. The convenience of parking nearby was also a plus. We even brought along our dog, and the cottage was fresh and pet-friendly. Despite the steep stairs and small shower, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Millgate Cottage In The Heart Of Richmond for a delightful getaway in the Dales. a 10 out of 10 experience!

The bathroom with the shower and washing machine was a game-changer for me. It felt like a home away from home, allowing me to freshen up and do my laundry hassle-free. As someone who likes to travel light, having this convenience was such a relief.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the hairdryer in the other bathroom. But hey, it's just my preference, and I know some people still find it useful.

The cottage is ideally located just a short walk from the market square and close to a beautiful river. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host provided tea, coffee, and delicious biscuits for guests, which was a nice touch. The location is quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful stay.
The cottage has two flights of steep stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The shower is a bit tight, which could be problematic for some guests.
